Overview
Atlassian Marketplace trials for Data Center apps can be extended by generating a new evaluation license in My Atlassian and applying it in Jira. If automated extensions are exhausted, request help from the app vendor.
Prerequisites
Jira System Administrator access
Your Jira Server ID (Administration > System > System info)
Atlassian account with access to your organization’s licenses at My Atlassian
Step 1 — Generate a new evaluation license in My Atlassian
Sign in to My Atlassian.
In Licenses, find “AssertThat – BDD, Cucumber & Test Management for Jira” (Data Center).
Select Actions > New Evaluation License (or the “+” next to Evaluation).
When prompted, provide your Jira Server ID and confirm generation. Copy the new evaluation key.
Step 2 — Apply the evaluation license in Jira
In Jira, go to Administration (cog) > Manage apps > Manage apps.
Locate “AssertThat – BDD, Cucumber & Test Management for Jira” and expand details.
Paste the new evaluation key into the License field, then click Update.
Updating the license key does not remove data or configurations. App features resume immediately after a valid key is applied.
If you can’t extend via My Atlassian
If you have already used the automated trial extensions available through My Atlassian, contact the vendor for help with a manual extension or a short-term key:

Troubleshooting
License rejected: Verify the key matches the Data Center edition and the correct app name/version.
Server ID mismatch: Ensure the Server ID used to generate the key matches the target Jira instance (System info).
Permission error: Only Jira System Administrators can update app licenses.
