Jira dashboards offer cross-project reporting, providing a comprehensive view of project progress and team performance. This helps to identify issues early and improve collaboration, resulting in better project outcomes.

AssertThat introduced 6 gadgets for Cloud and 2 gadgets for Server / Data Center in 2023 and will continue to add new gadgets throughout 2023.

To set up a Jira dashboard in Jira, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Jira Cloud homepage and click on the "Dashboards" option in the top navigation menu.

  2. Click on the "Create dashboard" button to start creating a new dashboard.

  3. Choose the type of dashboard you want to create (e.g., blank dashboard or predefined template).

  4. Add gadgets to the dashboard by clicking on the "Add gadget" button and selecting from the list of available gadgets.

  5. Configure the gadgets by providing the necessary settings, such as project filters or search criteria.

  6. Save the dashboard by clicking on the "Save" button.

Once the dashboard is saved, it will be available for use and can be shared with other team members or stakeholders.
